We are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor at our Exeter Office.

Job Description

To produce accurate valuations in a timely manner for clients ensuring production costs are accurately reflected for the financial benefit of the Company

Duties:

Produce Valuation matrixes and Daywork schedules

Review of contract documentation, drawing issues, to ensure all parties hold the

correct information

Produce a monthly application for payment to the client in line with the clients’ calculation schedule. This application must be a true reflection of the contract

Verify accurate payments for sub-contractors

As the Surveyor you should be aware of all costs relating to all project spend

Responsible for cost changes as a result of new drawings

Liaise with the client to evaluate daywork before an order is raised

Attend management meetings as and when required e.g. internal handover, formal client pre-let meetings

Liaise with relevant authorities

Keep up to date and ensure compliance with current health and safety legislation

Assist with any other duties to ensure the efficient running of MJL within the scope of your duties

To ensure all works are carried out in line with detailed and procedures to achieve ISO/ SMAS/CHAS/Achillies certification
